After two children were treated at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in the past fortnight for head injuries suffered in falls from windows, parents and carers are being urged to take extra care during the current hot weather. Both children, of pre-school age, fell from first-floor windows and had to be transferred to specialist units for further treatment.
